Random pictures from this week

Eliza loves to help in the kitchen. This is her helping to make german pancakes.

Despite moving out of Aggie Village, we went back for their big summer party (mostly to enjoy going and not having to be the people in charge of it like the last 2 years). Natalie and Eliza got their facepainted and we enjoyed seeing old friends and the free cotton candy.

And you wonder why Natalie hurt her back?

Helping pack everything for the move!

Play in the rain? Yes please! Here is a video clip

Eliza found the mirror during moving and couldn't stop playing with it! Video clip

Moving

We closed on our home on Thursday July 26th and had the carpets cleaned that afternoon.
We were able to convince some of the youth from our ward to come over on Friday and we hauled all of the boxes and small stuff from our apartment to the house. Saturday morning we had the Elders Quorum come help with the big stuff- it was an Elders quorum's dream come true: we were ready to go, only the large furniture was left, we had amazing donuts, and we were done by 9am.

Our new backyard had two great apple trees and raspberry bushes! Yum!

Trying to decide on which color we like the best.... we went with the bottom right "Toasted Cashew"

The joys of painting your own house!

The Steels from Albuquerque were able to come up this past week (Monday - Thursday) and helped us paint the entire house and unpack everything. It was very much appreciated and the house already feels like our home.
